The League controls the cancelation of our fields, not LCP&R. We do our best to make a closing decision at least two hours in advance, but mother nature is not always cooperative! Flag Football Summer Camps
Registration is now open for half-day flag football camps to be run the weeks of June 25 and Aug 6 at Algonkian Regional Park, 9am-noon. Open to boys and girls ages 6-11.
New 7v7 Competitive Summer League—Super 7 Series, Battle for the Flag!
This summer, we are hosting an interleague competitive 7v7 flag football league and tournament for 4/5, middle school and high school divisions. There will be 6 Saturday games plus a tournament on Aug 4/5. Practices and games will be held in Ashburn. If you are interested in participating or coaching in this league, please contact Andre. DMB Sports' Local Programs now Northern Virginia Sports Association
Cascades NFL Flag Football League, Loco Ladies Basketball and summer camps are now Northern Virginia Sports Association. Our nonprofit entity is focused on local sports programming for youth and adults. We have added several programs for boyscouts, are bringing back our Kids Ski Trip (now a Club) and have been approved by NFL Flag to bring back NFL Flag to Ashburn. New Coach Certification Now Available Online
With a focus on fundamentals and safety, USA Football is committed to providing flag football coaches with the best in coaching education. The video-based instruction courses are full of animated plays as well as quizzes showing proper technique and form. This $25 course is is paid for by the league, so Coaches and assistant coaches, please contact Lisa or Andre for the promo code to take the online course.
